FINAL GAME: Scotland 34, Rhein 21
As the season came to an end so did our troubles of putting points on the scoreboard. Our last game against the Rhein Fire may have been our "finest hour." We came together as a team and fed off of each others excitement and great play. Defense created turnovers, offense put the ball in the end zone and even special teams created a turnover on a kickoff.
It makes you wonder when you can play so well together, that if we had done this all season, would we be in Amsterdam? Oh well, thinking in the past can't get you anywhere. Today, travel day, is going to be a long trek. We fly into London and spend the night and head to our respective home towns. I can truly say this has been a unique experience. Not only from a football perspective, but unique in life's maturation process. Most people travel abroad and spend a week or two, but never did I think in my lifetime that I would spend three months in Europe.
Well, I head home, finally, and go straight to passing camp with Atlanta. I can't wait. Thanks for having open minds and reading the little things I had to say. I miss all of the UGA brethren and will feel at home when I get back to Bulldawg Country.
Take Care and GO DAWGS!!!!
