Montravius Adams 45%
Position: DT | Size: 6-3/305 | Hometown: Vienna, Ga. - Dooly County
Ranking: 4-star | No. 1 DT
Competitors: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, LSU, and USC
Commitment timeline: Signing Day
Summary: His mother has only been on two visits with her son and both were to Auburn, so many feel the Tigers lead. Clemson is right there too and then Georgia is the school just hovering in the middle of the pack right now. UGA is in this better than some may think.
Keith Bryant 30%
Position: DT | Size: 6-2/307 | Hometown: Delray Beach, Fla. - Atlantic
Ranking: 4-star | No. 18 DT
Competitors: Miami.
Commitment timeline: He plans to take some official visits.
Summary: He is a big Miami fan, but the word is that some close to him want him to get away and to make a fresh start. Since being a UM commit, he has visited Athens twice. He likes UGA, but if it his personal choice, he will be a Hurricane.
Kelsey Griffin 55%
Position: DT | Size: 6-2/290 | Hometown: Hoschton, Ga. - Mill Creek
Ranking: 4-star | No. 10 DT
Competitors: South Carolina
Commitment timeline: Should happen within the next month.
Summary: It is an SEC battle between two schools that battle in the SEC East. Carolina has done a very good job of keeping his interest, but UGA has been in the lead for some time. It is close, but the Dawgs still have the edge.
DeAndre Johnson 99%
Position: DT | Size: 6-3/315 | Hometown: Newnan, Ga. - Northgate
Ranking: 3-star | No. 51 DT
Competitors: None.
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on February 28, 2012
Summary: 'Moose' is a strong commitment to Georgia and they recruited him to play the nose guard position in their 3-4 scheme.
Toby Johnson - EE 50%
Position: DT | Size: 6-4/296 | Hometown: Hutchinson, Ks. - Hutchinson C.C.
Ranking: 4-star JUCO DT
Competitors: Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and others.
Commitment timeline: He plans to take official visits first and he is a December graduate.
Summary: He is from the state of Georgia and he has a good relationship with Rodney Garner, so the Dawgs are in this. It is going to be tough and getting him to Athens will be a big key. As of now, he plans to visit UGA in December, he final official visit.
Chris Mayes - EE 99%
Position: DT | Size: 6-4/325 | Hometown: Perkinston, Ms. - Mississippi Gulf College
Ranking: 3-star JUCO DT
Competitors: None.
Commitment timeline: Signed with Georgia in 2011.
Summary: Mayes was placed at Mississippi Gulf Coast after he failed to qualify out of high school. It looks like he will red-shirt this season allowing him to have three years to play three when he gets to Athens in January.
Jay Woods 20%
Position: DT | Size: 6-3/285 | Hometown: Jackson, Ga. - Jackson
Ranking: 4-star | No. 33 DT
Competitors: Vanderbilt
Commitment timeline: Committed to Vanderbilt on Aug. 16.
Summary: The Dawgs lost out to Vanderbilt here. Woods says he still could take some visits and if any school has a shot to flip him, it is Georgia. Dawg fans hope this ends up the same way Josh Dawson's recruitment did in 2012.

Position Summary: The Dawgs are in the running for some of the best defensive linemen in the country, but it will be a fight for each of them. They have two commitments at this time and both are likely to play inside. Griffin could swing inside or outside as could Adams. With Woods choosing Vanderbilt, will UGA offer another DL? Stay tuned.

Shaun McGee 99%
Position: DE | Size: 6-2/230 | Hometown: Snellville, Ga. - Brookwood
Ranking: 3-star | No. 45 DE
Competitors: None.
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on July 16, 2012
Summary: McGee went to Dawg Night 2012 with a goal in mind - to earn an offer. He earned one, slept on it for a couple of days, visited the following Monday, and committed that day. He is likely to play more ILB, but could cross-train and be worked inside and outside.
Naim Mustafaa 95%
Position: DE | Size: 6-4/235 | Hometown: Alpharetta, Ga. - Alpharetta
Ranking: 4-star | No. 15 DE
Competitors: Florida State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, and Tennessee.
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on June 9, 2012
Summary: Mustafaa is an end on Scout, but will likely be used as an outside linebacker/rush end in UGA's 3-4 scheme. He is very athletic and UGA is in control now, but they will have to hold off other schools still pursuing him.

Position Summary: Mustafaa is the only for-sure outside linebacker committed to the Dawgs. He is a perfect fit for what Todd Grantham looks for at that position. McGee could get some work there too. UGA is likely done at this position.

Competitors: Committed to Auburn
Commitment timeline: Flipped to Auburn from Alabama on July 12, 2012

Ranking: 4-star | No. 7 ILB
Competitors: None.

Summary: O'Neal made it clear early on that he was going to stay close to home to play college football and he followed through with that by committed to Georgia over Georgia Tech.
Ryne Rankin - EE 99%
Position: ILB | Size: 6-1/228 | Hometown: Orlando, Fla. - East River
Ranking: 3-star | No. 35 ILB
Competitors: None.
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on April 6, 2011
Summary: Rankin is a prospect UGA really evaluated and they seemed to like a lot of things about him. He knows the game, he plays hard, and his is the son of a coach.

Position Summary: Georgia has four inside linebackers committed at this time and they are likely done here. They would likely take Foster at any time, but the odds of him leaving Auburn are very low at this time. Outside of Foster, unless someone de-commits, UGA is done here.

Mackensie Alexander 10%

Ranking: 4-star | No. 4 CB
Competitors: Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, and others.
Commitment timeline: N/A
Summary: Alexander has visited Athens, but there does not seem to be much interest there right now. He committed to Tennessee early before backing off that. He is one UGA would take, but it will be difficult for the Dawgs to get him.
J.J. Green 99%
Position: CB | Size: 5-9/170 | Hometown: Kingsland, Ga. - Camden County
Ranking: 3-star | No. 59 CB
Competitors: None
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on April 9, 2012
Summary: Green is one of the most exciting football players in the state of Georgia. He is super-quick, he is very tough, and it remains to be scene just how or where UGA will use him. Scout ranks him as a corner, but he could be used as a slot receiver. He will definitely be a return man as well.
Steven Nelson - EE 95%
Position: CB | Size: 6-0/185 | Hometown: Visalia, Ca. - College of Sequoias
Ranking: 3-star JUCO CB
Competitors: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Texas Tech.

Position: CB | Size: 5-10/160 | Hometown: Tyrone, Ga. - Sandy Creek
Ranking: 4-star | No. 14 CB
Competitors: Auburn and Florida.
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on February 10, 2012
Summary: Wiggins took a visit to Athens on February 10 and he did not leave before committing. He has visited a number of other schools and flirted with Auburn and Florida, but all signs point to him being a Dawg at this time.
Reggie Wilkerson - EE 99%
Position: CB | Size: 5-11/165 | Hometown: Citra, Fla. - North Marion
Ranking: 4-star | No. 24 CB
Competitors: None
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on April 14, 2012
Summary: Georgia got Wilkerson on their campus in March, let him know he had an offer, and he committed to them a month later. He is a very good athlete with speed and size.

Position Summary: Georgia may be done at this position. They have thee legit corners committed and Green is a wildcard. Odds seem fairly high that they are done at this position - It would take someone pretty special for them to take another one.

Ranking: 5-star | No. 3 S
Competitors: Alabama, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas.

Ranking: 3-star | No. 76 S

Tray Matthews 90%
Position: S | Size: 6-1/200 | Hometown: Newnan, Ga. - Newnan
Ranking: 4-star | No. 9 S
Competitors: Auburn.
Commitment timeline: Committed to Georgia on August 13, 2011
Summary: Matthews committed to UGA before the 2011 season kicked off and he is still a strong commitment, but Auburn is a school you have to watch. He has visited there a few times, he is close to AU commit Reuben Foster, and he will visit them officially.

Position Summary: Georgia is likely done here. They will likely concentrate on holding onto who they have committed and start working on the 2014 class.

Position Summary: UGA has been and is done at this position. Ramsey was offered by Mike Bobo during the spring of 2011 and Ramsey committed to the Dawgs at Dawg Night a couple of months later. Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, and others tried to change his mind, but they had no luck.

Ranking: 4-star | No. 12 RB
Competitors: Alabama, Auburn, and South Carolina
Commitment timeline: N/A
Summary: Georgia had Bryant on their campus at Dawg Night 2011 and they offered him that night. He had interest in UGA early, then committed to Oklahoma earlier this year. He has talked to Bryan McClendon numerous time recently and the Dawgs appear to be in the mix.
Derrick Green 30%
Position: RB | Size: 5-11/225 | Hometown: Richmond, Va. - Hermitage
Ranking: 4-star | No. 7 RB
Competitors: Auburn, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech.
Commitment timeline: N/A.
Summary: Green named his top six early in August and UGA was not on that list, but he did visit Athens last weekend. He still has not said if UGA is a real contender or not, but he enjoyed his time on their campus. Most see Auburn as his leader followed by Michigan.
Derrick Henry - EE 20%
Position: RB | Size: 6-3/245 | Hometown: Yulee, Fla. - Yulee
Ranking: 5-star | No. 6 RB
Competitors: Alabama and Tennessee
Commitment timeline: Likely before the end of September.
Summary: Henry committed to Georgia at Dawg Night 2011 and stayed strong for about nine months. He then started visiting Tennessee in the spring before getting to Alabama for the first time in June. He has visited both schools again since after returning to Athens for Dawg Night 2012. Alabama and Tennessee both lead UGA.
Tyren Jones 25%
Position: RB | Size: 5-10/202 | Hometown: Marietta, Ga. - Walton
Ranking: 4-star | No. 18 RB
Competitors: Alabama
Commitment timeline: Committed to Alabama on February 21, 2012.
Summary: Jones still calls his commitment to Alabama "strong", but he will take some official visits. Georgia will likely be one school that hosts him.
Alvin Kamara 60%
Position: RB | Size: 5-10/191 | Hometown: Norcross, Ga. - Norcross
Ranking: 4-star | No. 16 RB
Competitors: Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Tennessee.
Commitment timeline: Likely before the end of September.
Summary: It will likely come down to Alabama and Georgia for Kamara. He could commit in August or take a couple of official visits, then commit in September. He is and has been high on UGA's board from the beginning.
Ashton Shumpert 10%
Position: RB | Size: 6-2/255 | Hometown: Fulton, Ms. - Itawamba Agricultural
Ranking: 4-star | No. 12 S
Competitors: Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.
Commitment timeline: N/A
Summary: UGA has not been in pursuit here for some time and it does not look they will be in the picture for Shumpert. Odds are high that he stays in state.
Altee Tenpenny 20%
Position: RB | Size: 6-0/203 | Hometown: North Little Rock, Ark. - North Little Rock
Ranking: 4-star | No. 11 RB
Competitors: Alabama, Arkansas, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma State
Commitment timeline: Committed to Alabama on January 28, 2012.
Summary: Tenpenny has decided to take some official visits and he said Georgia would receive one of those a little earlier in the summer. UGA has not really been on his radar, so we do not see the Dawgs as a real player at this time. If he visits, things could change. Right now, we see Arkansas as Alabama's biggest competitor.
A.J. Turman 25%
Position: RB | Size: 6-0/200 | Hometown: Orlando, Fla. - Boone
Ranking: 3-star | No. 33 RB
Competitors: Clemson, Florida State, Tennessee, and others.
Commitment timeline: N/A
Summary: Turman visited UGA earlier in the summer and he had a good time in Athens. It seems UGA is pursuing other backs a little harder at this time, but if the Dawgs miss out on Kamara, things could pick up here.

Position Summary: Georgia is looking to sign at least one running back in this class. They had Henry on board for about 11 months, but he is off the board, and likely not getting back on. Kamara has been that guy that UGA has pursued from the beginning and they have the best shot with him right now. Jones is one to really keep an eye on though. They definitely will sign a back in this class even if it calls for them sending out new offers.

Competitors: Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee
Commitment timeline: It is looking like Seymour will take official visits before he makes his decision.
Summary: Georgia is just simply running out of spots in this class and it looks like they will only take one more offensive tackle at this time and they will hold that spot for Tunsil. Seymour is still on their radar and someone they will likely stay in touch with.
