Summer Workout Photo Gallery Part I

The Iron Dawgs are working hard to defend their SEC Title this fall. brings you Part I of a long series of photo galleries.

One of the special things about summer workouts is watching all of the NFL dawgs come home to work with their former teammates. Here Pittsburgh Steelers draft pick J.T. Wall spots Ravens draft pick Musa Smith on the bench press.

Here, Michael Turner Spots David Pollack. Turner is up to 285 pounds and looks like he is ready to contribute on the offensive line this year. What needs to be said about Pollack? He's bigger, stronger, and quicker than last year. The true junior could leave Georgia as one of the best All-Time defenders in the SEC when he is finished.

In possibly the best news of the Day, David Jacobs, who was forced to retire from football because of health reasons, worked out and tested with the team. He completed his sixteen 110 yard sprints in the allocated time to pass the testing.

Ray Gant is shown running through his drills. Gant is an agile defensive tackle that could provide depth on the defensive line this year.

No one glided through the 110 yard testing like Cedric Haywood. Haywood floated through his drills and looked like he was just beginning to get warmed up when they were completed.

Anyone built like Ben Watson needs a nickname. This guy looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first Terminator movie. Anyone wondering why Watson considered going pro after a year in which he didn't have monster numbers at tight end? He ran a 4.41 forty at Pro day for the NFL scouts. will bring you more and more pictures from summer workouts in the next several days:
