Demonte Bolden is the #3 defensive tackle in the country by TheInsiders.com and a five star prospect. He was Tennessee's first commitment for the class of 2004, but there has been rumblings of a de-commitment. We caught up with Bolden last night to find out what he had to say.
"I'm still committed to Tennessee," said Bolden. "I do plan on
taking all five of my visits though. The teams that I want to visit right now
are Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, and Penn State."
Bolden has been to camps at Tennessee and to the Nike Camp at Auburn, AL where
he was one of the most impressive big men at the camp. Tennessee looks like the
team to beat, but Bolden's "commitment" seems to be in name only right
now. He will be a huge pickup for whichever team is able to sign him, because of
his quickness and strength at the point of attack. Bolden is adept at stopping
the run and penetrating the backfield.
