Kitt Decommits from UGA

After visiting the University of Georgia just weeks ago, 2014 WR Demarre Kitt has decided to rescind his verbal commitment and reopen his recruitment. While the 'Dawgs remain in the running, Kitt says he "won't rush it" this time around.

The race to land Demarre Kitt has reopened as the junior receiver decommits from the University of Georgia.

"I think I committed too early," Kitt admitted. "There are other schools recruiting me hard and I think they deserve a chance."

In Kitt's newly named top three, Clemson and USC are now in the running alongside Georgia.

"I'm going to USC versus Oregon on November 3rd," Kitt said. "And I'm going to Clemson versus South Carolina on Rivalry Weekend."

Although Kitt hasn't ruled out the 'Dawgs, he isn't ready to close the door on outside interest.

"I'm just seeing what's best for me," Kitt explained. "I'm just going to enjoy it for now. In the spring and summer, I'll narrow it down to a top five or top three before choosing the last one."

Kitt has also earned interest from Auburn, Florida State and LSU.

"I would like to take visits to all of them...I just won't rush my commitment this time."
