It's About More than Football

It is about more than just football for Myles Willis. He committed to Boston College for multiple reasons.

"I am still solid to Boston College and I know there is some talk about some coaching changes being made there, but that does not really bother me," Myles Willis told Scout.

Boston College is currently 2-7 with games against Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina State left on their schedule.

Willis has heard chatter about possible changes, but he is committed to Boston College for more than football.

"Boston College is just the right fit for me. There are a lot of people at Boston College that attended a private school like me, so I get along with the people there really well.

"I feel good in the environment there too because of the people, the academics, and just the surroundings.

"I committed to them because of everything they offer and how I fit in as a student, not just for football. I am still solid to them even if they make coaching changes as long as the new coaches want me."

Most schools have backed off this 5-foot-9, 185 pound senior out of Atlanta (Ga.) Marist. Cincinnati and Penn State send him letters still, but neither are really pursuing him right now.

Most know he is focused on playing for the Eagles.

"I fell good about my choice of schools. I will be playing running back for them and I feel good about moving there from quarterback. I camped at some schools over the summer and worked at running back and it felt good."
