If you are a Ragin' Cajun fan and have been following football recruiting, then the name Taj Letman is familiar to you. We spoke to the Georgia native last week prior to visiting UL this past weekend. (http://louisiana.scout.com/2/1239736.html) Letman made the track down to Lafayette from Mississippi with teammate Cedric Tillman whom committed to UL after Saturday nights win against Western Kentucky. After the game, Taj Letman let us know where the Ragin' Cajuns rank with him.
"They are my number one program," Letman proclaimed." I love the staff and the college game day atmosphere with their fans. Watching them interact with the fans and students after the game was just crazy! I told Coach Hudspeth after the game that they were number one on my list and I had one more visit I will take before making my final decision."
Teammate Cedric Tillman didn't wait to give his verbal commitment to UL, will that play a part in Letman's final decision?
"Cedric has to do what is best from him," Taj stated. "But it does play a role in what I wouldn't mind seeing happen and that is playing together at the next level. But that won't be the only reason I would make that decision, it will have to be about me being comfortable with the staff and the opportunity to play early."
Letman is scheduled to visit Florida International next and then he will make a final decision.
"I've scheduled a visit down to FIU this month and then I will make my final decision," Letman said. "But there is no doubt ULL has made a major impression on me and they will be hard to be in my final analysis."
