No Texas Visit

Shaquille Fluker was offered by the Texas Longhorns in November and he had an official visit set up for this weekend, but he did not make the trip.

"I did not visit Texas this weekend," Shaquille Fluker told Scout Saturday morning. "I am a Georgia commitment and I think I will only visit Georgia in January."

Fluker was visited by UGA coaches earlier in the week and he stays in regular contact with Georgia's secondary coach Scott Lakatos.

He is a 6-foot-1, 205 pound safety out of East Mississippi Community College and he will have three years to play two on the next level.

Chad Simmons is currently a National Recruiting Analyst for FOX Sports/Scout. He started with Scout in 2003 and then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become South Recruiting Manager.
