WHAT TO LIKE
At 5-foot-10 and over 210-pounds Bryant has the build to take and give a pounding out of the running back position. Because of his physical size Irish fans should expect to see Bryant making an early contribution on the field. His ability on the field with his initial quickness out of his stance and inside running ability should serve him well. The fact he's a power back with great balance upon contact will allow him to gain yards after first contact.
WHAT MAY CONCERN YOU
The first concern going to signing day will be the possibility of Bryant making another change to his pledge. Bryant has already given Oklahoma a pledge during the process and will still be pursued by others going forward. One area on the field Bryant will need to work on is the number of steps he takes in traffic. Instead of planting and going forward Bryant at times will take too many extra steps.
Bryant has the ability to be a complete back as he shows the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Look for some fine tuning in his ability to block but that is normal out of most high school backs. Bryant has the natural instincts you love to see allowing him to pick and slide between the tackles until he finds the hole. His natural lean will also help him gain those extra yards when they matter most and give the Irish a true goal line back for the future.
