South: All-American Stock Report

Many of the top prospects gathered over the last week to week and a half to compete in All-American events and some saw their stock go up while others saw it go down.

Ben Boulware | MLB | 6-1/226 | Anderson (SC) T.L. Hanna

Recruiting: Committed to Clemson.
Quick Hitter: Boulware was arguably the top linebacker in Orlando on the practice field and in the game. He was always around the ball, he flew around each play, and he drew a lot of praise from former NFL star Lavar Arrington.
Stock: Up

Ira Denson | OG | 6-4/320 | Madison (FL) Madison County

Recruiting: Committed to Florida State
Quick Hitter: Denson made a name for himself at the Wide World of Sports back in th spring witha superman like performance at the NFTC, but he was not near as dominant this time around. He was not as aggressive, he leaned on the defensive lineman, and he couldn't handle some of the best in pads.
Stock: Down

Greg Gilmore | DT | 6-4/285 | Hope Mills (NC) South View

Recruiting: Committed to LSU.
Quick Hitter: Gilmore was arguably the top defensive lineman throughout the week at the Under Armour All-America game. He has gained good weight, he is still very mobile, and he is much stronger at the point of attack this year than he was a year ago.
Stock: Up

Frank Herron | DE | 6-5/270 | Memphis (TN) Central

Recruiting: Committed to LSU.
Quick Hitter: Herron continued to impress in San Antonio. His senior tape is strong, but he is bigger in person, he shows a little more explosion off the ball, and he has a chance to be a great one in Baton Rouge. He is that big and strong end they like and he has quickness off the ball and power to play the run.
Stock: Up

Chris Jones | DE | 6-6/255 | Houston (MS) Houston

Recruiting: Committed to Mississippi State.
Quick Hitter: Some may be tired of hearing about Jones, but he is one of the top prospects in the country. He has gone from a sleeper to a premier prospect in the past four months. He moved into the Scout100 after we saw him live in mid December and he will continue to ascend up the rankings in January after a very strong performance in Orlando.
Stock: Up

Alvin Kamara | RB | 5-10/191 | Norcross (GA) Norcross

Recruiting: Alabama and Georgia lead Oregon and Tennessee.
Quick Hitter: Kamara continued to show he can run with power in Orlando. After being named Player of the Year in Georgia and taking his team to a 15-0 perfect season, Kamara showed he was one of the top backs in the country while competing for a week in Orlando.
Stock: Up

Dee Liner | DT | 6-3/268 | Muscle Shoals (AL) Muscle Shoals

Recruiting: Committed to Auburn, but Alabama is trying to hang around.
Quick Hitter: Liner has the potential to be a dominant defensive lineman on the next level who could line up some at end and tackle. He needs to play with more consistency, learn to work his hands more, and just play with a better motor. He can really pursue the ball and he showed flashes of explosion during the week on the practice field.
Stock: Down

Johnny O'Neal | MLB | 6-2/230 | Dublin (GA) West Laurens

Recruiting: Committed to Georgia.
Quick Hitter: O'Neal struggled some in San Antonio. He showed some stiffness when trying to drop into coverage, he did not react as quickly to the ball as some of the other linebackers, and he just was not as involved in as many plays as Scout would have liked. He showed some pop and strength though against the run.
Stock: Down

Earnest Robinson | WR | 6-3/196 | Pinson (AL) Pinson Valley

Recruiting: Committed to Auburn.
Quick Hitter: Robinson did not make a real impact in Orlando. When he went against the defensive backs, he just couldn't get open and make plays. He struggled getting open and he needs to work on his quickness and his ability to get some separation. He has good size and long arms with above average hands.
Stock: Down

Demarcus Walker | DT | 6-3/252 | Jacksonville (FL) Sandalwood

Recruiting: Committed to Alabama, but rumors about Florida and even Florida State have been swirling over the last couple of days.
Quick Hitter: Walker is not the same player today that he was in the summer or that Scout thinks he can be in the future. After dominating some of the top OLs at The Opening in July at 280 plus pounds, he is down to around 250 pounds. He is best when heavy as a strongside end or a quick defensive tackle. He was up and down in Orlando.
Stock: Down

Tre'Davious White | CB | 5-11/175 | Shreveport (LA) Green Oaks

Recruiting: Committed to LSU..
Quick Hitter: White continued to show he is one of the top corners in the country in San Antonio. He has a great burst, elite short-space quickness, and good length at corner. He can still improve on his strength, but he is a corner with big play ability.
Stock: Up

Shaquille Wiggins | CB | 5-10/160 | Tyrone (GA) Sandy Creek

Recruiting: Committed to Georgia, but taking official visits to Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Texas A&M.
Quick Hitter: There were some top corners at the Under Armour All-America game, but when talking pure coverage skills, Wiggins was either one or two throughout the practices. Vernon Hargreaves was likely the best, but Wiggins was next. He has loose hips, he really reads the receivers well, and he has elite reaction on the ball.
Stock: Up

Scout will release their final class of 2013 rankings in the near future.
