Just 12 games into the season, Hill, a 6-foot-4 four guard, is averaging 33 points and 12 rebounds a game for Augusta (Ga.) Aquinas.
"I'm shooting the ball well," Hill told Scout.com. "I'm handling the ball really well. I'm getting to the basket. I'm playing defense pretty well and getting a lot of steals. I'm just helping my team."
Scout.com's No. 27 overall prospect said while he's happy with how he's playing he think he could play better. He said he spent the off-season working on his shooting.
"Off the dribble and just catching and shooting," he responded when asked about the offseason. "I'm working on my release to get quicker."
Interest continues to rise for Hill on the recruiting front, as a host of coaches have made their way to Augusta (Ga.) to check in on the talented scoring guard.
Among the head coaches that have seen him recently are Shaka Smart, Anthony Grant, Kevin Ollie, Buzz Williams, Tom Crean, Bill Self, Frank Martin, Mark Fox, Brian Gregory and Leonard Hamilton. North Carolina State and Duke have also sent assistants to check out Hill.
"I've just been working on getting my list narrowed down a little bit," Hill told Scout.com.
"What I do is I go into 2012 and 2013 classes and print them off and see what guys play my position and what schools they went to," Hill said. "But it's going pretty good."
The next step in the recruiting process is to begin taking visits. Hill plans to do that after his junior season.
"I'm trying to wait until my basketball season is over or probably in March or something like that a little later on," he said.
Hill then would like to make a college choice prior to his senior season.
"It comes to my mind from time to time," he said about making his college choice. "I'm going to decide where I go to probably in November."
