"It went real well," Pickett said after the long day. "In one-on-ones no one caught a pass on me."
The 2014 defensive back currently holds offers to play college football at Arizona State, Utah, and California. "They are excellent programs," Pickett said. "They are playing good football and they've got some quality talent."
The 5-foot-11, 176-pound Pickett received the offer from Cal before Sonny Dykes replaced former head coach Jeff Tedford, but Pickett says his offer from the Golden Bears is still intact. "The (coaches) have been talking to me," he said.
Pickett said he's "been getting hit by schools all over the country," and that the programs contacting him are the ones hopes to be hearing from. "I've been hearing from everybody," he said, "so it's real nice."
With plenty of time to continue to pick up offers, Pickett knows he also has plenty of time to improve his game. "I'm real physical, playing corner I like to jam a lot and stay in people's faces," he said. "But I need to work on playing off man and always on my footwork."
