Brown looks good in return from injury

Back from an injury five-star class of 2015 prospect Jaylen Brown looks as good as ever for Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler.

Five-star wing Jaylen Brown just recently returned to the court from injury for Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler, and he did so with a bang. Brown has been a double-double machine, and is just beginning to scratch the surface of how good he could become.

After missing the first month plus of the season Brown returned over the weekend, and did so in impressive fashion. Then he followed it up with a good showing at Flyin to the Hoop, and Brown is happy with how things are going on the year.

"It is good to be back," said Brown. "I have been sitting out and trying to get back into a rhythm and a flow."

Recruiting wise there hasn't been a shortage of schools showing interest in the big time prospect.

"I got a call from Kentucky, Iowa, Cincinnati, Texas, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, North Carolina State, and schools like that have inquired," noted Brown.

The conversation with Kentucky was a quick one, but they indicated that there is interest.

"I didn't talk to them, but they talked to my coach and he said they asked about me," explained Brown of UK.

So far this year Brown has been to Georgia Tech for a game and he came away very impressed.

"I saw them when they opened their new arena and they had three freshmen out there playing good minutes and looking good," said Brown of the Yellow Jackets.

Also the Georgia Bulldogs have made sure to keep Brown high on their recruiting list and there is mutual interest.

"Georgia is a solid team and they are one of the first schools who recruited me," said Brown. "I like them a lot."

At the moment the 2015 prospect is nowhere near making a decision, but in a school he has an idea of what he is looking for.

"I just want to fit in and be comfortable at a school that can get me to the next level," said Brown.
