Champs offer Chubb

Nick Chubb added an offer from Florida earlier in the week and he picked up an offer from the national champs on Saturday.

Nick Chbb saw Nick Saban and Kirby Smart stop by his school on Thursday and he knew he was on the Alabama radar for some time.

The Crimson Tide officially made it clear to Chubb on Saturday that their interest is high in him.

"I was expecting them offer me today and I got it from Nick Saban," Chubb said from home Saturday night after visiting Alabama all day.

It was no surprise to Chubb and he now has eight scholarship offers. Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Purdue, and Tennessee along with 'Bama have offered him.

He does not have any favorites today, but the Crimson Tide does have his interest.

"I have a lot of interest in Alabama and I look forward to going back soon."

When asked about what stood out today during his visit, Chubb said, "I liked how they work in their weight room and it shows why they are the No. 1 team."

Since taking over at Alabama, Saban and his staff has produced some elite running backs. Chubb knows about Mark Engram, Trent Richardson, and Eddie Lacy. He would not mind being next in line.

"I would like to be a back like them one day. Alabama really knows how to evolve you to being a better player."

Chubb rushed for 2,717 on 312 carries and he scored 39 rushing touchdowns in 2012.
