"I was at home and my coach called me and told me that Auburn offered," Dukes says. "I was very excited. I was shocked. That's one of the schools I was really looking forward to getting an offer from. I really like Auburn."
Currently sitting at eight offers including Syracuse, Connecticut, Indiana, Louisville, Middle Tennessee and Buffalo, the 6-0, 215 Dukes says that at the moment Auburn is his leader because of the academic situation on the Plains and his relationship with Rodney Garner.
"Auburn is at the top," Dukes says. "I like their sports management program and that's what I want to major in. I like their new coaching staff. Rodney Garner was recruiting me at Georgia and that made me more comfortable. He's down to earth. He's straight-up. He tells me how it is and I like that."
Saying that he plans to take his time before making a decision, Dukes notes that he'll be in Auburn on Monday for an unofficial visit along with talented teammate Elisha Shaw.
