Lammons has huge week

Chris Lammons has had quite the big week when it comes to his recruitment. In the last five days, the 2014 cornerback picked up offers from Miami, Ohio State, Florida, and Florida State. Get the latest from Lammons right here.

Chris Lammons said picking up offers from the Sunshine State's "Big Three" programs was quite a great feeling.

"It's been really exciting because Miami, Florida State, and the Florida Gators have been the teams I've grown up watching. I've watched Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, and all those players that have played (at those schools). Getting offers from them really just shocked my life," he said.

"The one I've been a fan of growing up was Miami, that's always been the backyard school."

The Plantation (Plantation, FL) standout said there is a lot to like about each program and he's thrilled to have the offers.

"I like everything about Miami, the basketball team, the school, the coaches are like a family," Lammons said.

"Florida, I didn't really get to experience Florida yet, but I'm going to take a visit and see how it is."

"Florida State, they're good. One of my role models was Greg Reid when he played for them."

Lammons also added Ohio State this week and hopes to visit the Buckeyes in the future.

"I like Ohio State a lot, their coaches have shown a lot of love and they're really trying to get me up there for a visit," he said.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound defensive back now has six offers including Ole Miss and Indiana. It's early in his recruiting process and he says he has no early favorites.

"I'm wide open right now," Lammons said.
