Harris' visit was his sixth Junior Day thus far, and he's garnered offers from Ohio, Georgia State and Alabama. While in Athens, he visited with offensive line coach Will Friend and spoke to head coach Mark Richt briefly.
"It was a good day," Harris said. "They said they're definitely interested in me."
Harris plays at Collins Hill, which is just 45 miles from Georgia's campus. He said that the proximity to home is a great sell, but acknowledged that he'd also consider playing on the west coast.
"I was born in Los Angeles," he said to Scout's Kristen Ledlow. "My mom is from Los Angeles. I've always liked USC."
But Harris does admire the academics sell at Georgia, and is planning to visit Duke and Miami as well. Right now, though, he's focused on getting stronger while prepping for his summer tour of college camps.
"I'm getting excited," Harris said. "I just hope that I get to see all the schools I'm interested in."
