The early returns on the concussion are positive for a return soon. Donovan has ruled him out for Tuesday's game at Tennessee, but a return could happen any time after that.
Frazier is expected to do some exercising on Monday or Tuesday.
"It probably wasn't as severe as maybe first originally thought, but I still know there's a protocol they all have to go through with the doctors and trainer, steps they've got to go through in order for him to be cleared," Florida head coach Billy Donovan said. "I would imagine if not today, tomorrow he'll start to get into some light exercises and see how he responds."
Will Yeguete ran "five or six" sprints on Thursday. The training staff wanted to wait to see how his knee would respond, but it didn't have any swelling in the following days. It responded well on Friday, so he ran a few more sprints and did some cutting and moving on the floor.
After another 24 hours, there still wasn't any swelling around the knee. He went through the entire shoot-around before Saturday's game and also went through a full warm-up with the team. The knee didn't have a negative response to that, either.
He'll do more activity on Monday and will soon rejoin the team for non-contact practice activity.
"There's a process he has to go through before the doctors feel comfortable," Donovan said. "The thing that would set him back would be the swelling part of it. They are not going to thrust him so fast into doing something just to have him set back. They are going pretty slow with him right now just to see how he responds but they are starting to do more and more."
The team will take Wednesday off from practice and return to action on Thursday to prepare for Saturday's game against Alabama. Donovan said he would prefer Yeguete get into practice before being thrown into a game, so that would likely have to happen on Thursday or Friday for Yeguete to be available on Saturday. There's also a new knee brace that Yeguete is still trying to get used to wearing.
"He does not like it," Donovan said of Yeguete's brace. "It's kind of restrictive. It's something he needs to get used to, and most players don't like playing with something on them like that. He's got to get used to that. We'll work with him today and see how he responds again tomorrow."
