Is UGA back in it for Kitt?

Demarre Kitt committed to Georgia early in the spring of 2012 but has retracted on that decision. At one time UGA was completely out of his top five, so where do the Dawgs stand after his time in Athens Saturday?

"Georgia is back up on my list now," Demarre Kitt told Scout after his visit to Georgia Saturday.

That is big for UGA and the Dawg Nation since the Bulldogs were just about off Kitt's list completely not too long ago.

When asked why the Dawgs have worked their way back into the race, Kitt said, "Because of their need for big-time receivers."

"I got to watch practice Saturday then I sat down with Coach [Mark] Richt for 30 minutes and we talked. He talked to me about different stuff and he told me that he wants me back at Georgia for sure."

Richt talked to Kitt on the phone earlier in the week and communication appears to be back on between UGA and the top wide receiver in the Peach State.

Clemson and Ohio State were Kitt's top two entering this weekend and that has not changed.

When Scout asked Kitt if the Dawgs have pushed themselves back up there into his top group, his response was "not yet".
