Bone has five offers

Blake Bone is one of the top 2014 prospects in South Carolina. The Woodruff (S.C.) wide receiver is up to five scholarship offers.

Blake Bone had a huge junior season. Now, his recruitment is beginning to gain momentum.

The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Bone has scholarship offers from Clemson, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ole Miss, and South Carolina.

"Right now, I'm just learning about colleges and talking to a lot of coaches," Bone said.

The Woodruff standout has made visits to South Carolina and North Carolina this winter and enjoyed the both trips. Bone said he would likely visit all the schools that have offered him in the next few months.

Several other schools are recruiting him.

"A lot of schools have been recruiting me – Georgia, Miami, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi State, Oregon, and just a lot of schools," said Bone.

Bone is taking his time with the recruiting process.

"I'm definitely not making any decisions right now," he said. "I will probably narrow my list during my season – probably to three or four schools. Most likely, I'm going to wait until National Signing Day to make my decision."

The coaching staff will play major role in Bone's decision.

"The coaching staff is going to be big," he said. "Just them showing that they care about you and they want you to be a part of their team and be a part of something special."

Bone finished his junior season with 65 catches for 1,150 yards and 15 touchdowns.
