CB Has Thumb Surgery

Four-star cornerback recruit Kendall Randolph from Tallahassee Lincoln recently had thumb surgery.

Kendall Randolph (Tallahassee, Fla./Lincoln) is a four-star defensive back and one of the top cornerbacks from the Sunshine State in the Class of 2014. He recently had thumb surgery.

"Kendall tore ligaments in his thumb in week eight or nine of the regular season last full," said Yusuf Shakir, Lincoln's coach. "They actually put a rod in it and he hasn't been allowed to do anything, no running or weight lifting. But he will be all right. Kendall should be back next week."

Randolph, 6-foot-0 and 175-pounds, has a top five schools according to Shakir.

"Of boy he has a bunch of offers," Shakir said. "Right now his top five are Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, Vanderbilt and Stanford. He has the grades too. He carries a 3.3 [GPA] and has a 24 ACT."
