The Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported about the situation. University spokesman Claude Felton confirmed that Harvey-Clemons had been suspended one game by coach Mark Richt.
Harvey-Clemons had a very good spring practice in which he was spotlighted by Todd Grantham for his solid play and potential. In fact, Harvey-Clemons had such a good spring that Georgia coaches didn't know exactly where they would start him, but said that he would start at some position. That wound up being safety.
Georgia opens its season at Clemson on August 31st.
