Dean's List: Games of the Year - #3

Dean Legge counts down Georgia's five biggest games of the 2013 season.

The Tigers roll into Sanford Stadium for another matchup CBS must be very interested in televising. When these two teams get together the game is usually compelling and almost always close. Les Miles and Mark Richt have been living in the shadow of Nick Saban and Alabama for the last few years, but both have had stellar turns of the decade.

But the loser of this game is going to have a hard time getting back to Atlanta without a perfect run the rest of the way. The game is in Athens, so the Dawgs will have some advantage.

Both LSU and Georgia have challenging 2013 schedules with difficult season openers. This game will either knock Georgia out of the SEC East race, or cement it as the team to beat. Georgia had better hope Zach Mettenberger doesn't have a breakout game in his homecoming.
