"I haven't been on the (Georgia) campus too much, but I'm on my way to Florida for a visit today," Lambert said.
Lambert did say he liked the possibilities a Georgia education would offer him should he eventually decides to step away from football.
"If I have a chance to go to the NFL I can come back to Georgia and get my degree," Lambert said. "That's pretty cool."
"Coach Grantham knows a lot about the game, and he showed me where I'll be playing if I come to Georgia," Lambert said.
Lambert will be a defensive end in Grantham's scheme – a place where the current Georgia Military College standout says he'd be comfortable.
Lambert has heard about Florida's academic program as well, but that's about all he's uncovered about the school.
"I know Florida is high on the list for academics, but that's all I know about the university as far as academics," Lambert said.
The JUCO sophomore has a plan for his major, but it's subject to change.
"I may change my major, but as of now it is physical therapy," Lambert said.
The recruiting process hasn't taken too much of a toll on Lambert, though. He's been able to relax, and says he's glad to be receiving so many phone calls.
"Everything is going pretty good," Lambert said. "Coaches have called a lot and offered so it's been pretty good."
