Dawg Post's 15 for 2015 is an early list of players who have already make a mark on the recruiting world. This list is not an indicator of the best 15 high school football players in Georgia. It is not a list of 15 players Georgia will sign in 2015.
It is simply a list of 15 players readers should be aware of as they start to understand 2015's landscape.
Significant Offers: Committed to Georgia
Fox Sports NEXT's Chad Simmons on Owens:
Owens is a big wide receiver now, and he will be that or more of a hybrid tight end on the next level. He has great body control, he has great length, and he is a fluid big man. He needs to add weight and muscle to his frame.
He committed to Georgia as a sophomore, but expect plenty of other schools to continue to recruit him.
Dean Legge on Owens and Georgia:
Long and lean, I would have liked to have seen better route running and more energy form Christian Owens the day I saw him at the Mark Richt Camp, but that's something that can be developed over time under Tony Ball. What you can't teach is what Owens has - size and length. He doesn't look at a lot like any of the current crop of Georgia receivers. Perhaps he looks like a very, very skinny Marlon Brown. But Owens committed early and has two years to get ready for the college game. Obviously, he very immature physically, but its obvious he could become huge in the future if he takes to the weight room.
