One program on the four-star point guard's radar is Western Kentucky.
"They (WKU) are pretty new, don't know too much yet," Pinckney said. "But I'm definitely interested in the opportunity.
"I know Courtney Lee went there."
According to Maxpreps.com, the rising senior averaged 14.3 points and 5 assists per game in 2012-13 at Miller Grove, also contributing 4 rebounds and 2 steals a game in leading his high school to Georgia's AAAAA state title.
While holding double-digit offers from Division 1 programs, Pinckney hasn't started eliminating any from his list just yet.
"No one stands out right now really," he said. "Everyone is kinda equal.
"Looking to plan out visits after this July period ends."
It could be a quick decision for Pinckney after he takes his visits, if he feels comfortable and ready to sign in the fall.
"I wanna do fall signing period," he said. "But if I'm not ready by then I won't rush it."
The NCAA's early signing period for basketball runs from Nov. 13, 2013 to Nov. 20.
