Johnson Will Take Different Path to Athens

Rico Johnson will not be at Georgia this fall, he said this afternoon.

"I just found out about it," Johnson said of the NCAA not accepting two of the online courses he took over the summer to enroll at Georgia this fall.

"Right now I am not quite sure what I am going to do, but I talked with Georgia and they gave me a few options," he added.

Last year Leonard Floyd wasn't allowed to enroll early, but went to a prep school to get his eligibility in order for this fall. He enrolled at Georgia in May. Johnson said he will decide his immediate future as fast as possible.

"I can't remember the name of the prep school," Johnson said. "But it was that, and then they gave my three junior colleges to look at – Georgia Military, Holmes and Hutchinson."

Georgia signed Toby Johnson out of Hutchinson Community College and Jonathon Rumph out of Holmes this year.
