Brown's excited, not nervous

Later this week Keyon Brown will announce his college choice. Before that date, he and his family visited Georgia and he recaps that trip and more here...

After Keyon Brown and his family visited Athens, Ga. in the summer, Georgia took the lead and UGA has stayed on top since.

The Brown family returned to UGA over the weekend for the official visit and all went well.

"The visit went good," Brown said. "I hung out with the players, went out to eat with the coaches, and it was good.

"The highlights of the visit were going out to eat with Coach [Todd] Grantham (Defensive Coordinator) and then going over to Coach [Mark] Richt's house to eat brunch with him and his wife."

The 6-foot-3, 240 pound jumbo-athlete out of Wauchula (Fla.) Hardee had no questions for the UGA staff. He had already seen everything and knew all he needed to know about the school.

He just hung out with the players and took in the atmosphere.

"Shaun McGee was my host, so I hung out with him, Jonathan Rumph, and a few other guys. It was good hanging out with them and I think I would fit in with them there."

It is now just a few days until Brown announces his decision. He has confirmed with Scout that he knows what school he is going to choose Thursday at noon EST and he is looking forward to it.

"Oh yeah, I am ready," said Brown. "I am excited about it. I am not really nervous."

Brown is the No. 18 defensive end in the country and he will choose from Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, and Tennessee.
