Dawgs Host Critical Prospect

This won't be Josh Malone's last official visit, but it was an important one for the four-star receiver.

"It was fun," he said. "I pretty much hung out with Chris Conley during the weekend."

Malone and his family got a front row seat to one of the best games of the weekend – Georgia's 44-41 win over LSU. Malone said he was impressed by the way his host, Conley, and the rest of the Bulldogs performed.

"Chris really played great," he said. "Really, the all did."

This week Malone will see Georgia play again – this time on his official visit to home-state Tennessee.

"We are so blessed to have so many offers," Malone's mother Becky said after the trip to Athens. "We really are."

Malone didn't indicate that the Bulldogs or any other school were leading for him, but Georgia is considered one of the top schools for him. The Vols, as well as Clemson and Florida State are Georgia's biggest obstacles.

Malone indicated that he likes Georgia receiver coach Tony Ball and head coach Mark Richt. Ball will watch Malone play in Memphis the week the Bulldogs play Vanderbilt.
