Lilly Offers 2015 TE

Before playing Vanderbilt Saturday, a handful of Georgia coaches spent Friday night on the road. John Lilly was out, he scouted a junior tight end, and UGA offered on Monday...

Jackson Harris is his name and he is now a Georgia target in 2015.

Georgia's tight ends coach John Lilly was at the Columbia (Tenn.) Columbia Central game Friday night and he apparently liked what he saw.

"I called Coach Lilly Monday night and he offered me," said Harris. "He really likes my versatility and he said their offense is similar to ours in how they use the tight ends in different places."

The offer from UGA gives the 6-foot-5, 240 pound three-star a total of eight now.

Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Memphis, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt have offered as well.

The No. 14 tight end in 2015 does not know a lot about the Dawgs yet, but he plans to learn about the SEC program soon.

"I am definitely interested in Georgia and I will be visiting soon," said Harris.

All schools are "pretty even" right now for Harris.
