Offer/Visit Updates On CSM Prospects

With their season recently completed, College of San Mateo sophomores are starting to look towards recruiting and finding a place to play in 2014. Defensive coordinator Tim Tulloch caught up with recently and he updated us on the offers and official visit plans of several Bulldog prospects...

S Sam Atoe - "Sam is a real talent. He can do it all and he did it all for us. He was named First Team All-Nor Cal, so he's a special player. He's got offers from California, Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada, TCU and Texas Tech and he's hearing from a few other schools as well. He will visit Fresno State mid-week during the first week of December, he'll visit Cal on December 6th and then Texas Tech the second weekend of December (13th - 15th)."

2013 Stats: 41 tackles, 11.5 tackles-for-loss, 3.5 sacks, 1 blocked punt; 9 KO returns, 29.7 yard average per return

CB Bryant Hayes - "Hayes has an offer from Fresno State and Hawaii is real close to offering, but they haven't offered yet. He was named a First Team All-Nor Cal guy. He's long and lean and he's really good in coverage."

2013 Stats: 17 tackles, 4 interceptions, 7 pass breakups

CB Deshane Hines - "Deshane had a great season. He was a First Team All-Nor Cal guy and he's got a lot of schools interested. Right now, Colorado and San Jose State have offered him and I think he will get some more offers soon. He will visit Colorado on December 6th and he'll probably take a couple more before he decides."

2013 Stats: 34 tackles, 2 tackles-for-loss, 4 pass breakups

OT Dominick Jackson - "He's still firmly committed to Alabama and he will graduate in May. He just dominated this year. He was named First Team All-Nor Cal."

DT Trevor Kelly - "Trevor just blew up this year. Everyone is after him now. He had a great season for us. He's strong and super-quick and he's another guy that was named First Team All-Nor Cal. Right now, he has offers from Illinois, Cal, Florida and Colorado and he's got other schools starting to come after him. He's visiting Illinois this weekend and he will visit Cal next weekend."

2013 Stats: 44 tackles, 14 tackles-for-loss, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 blocked kick

DT Rika Levi - "Rika just dominated this year. He was named the Nor Cal Conference Defensive Player of the Year and he obviously was a First Team All-Nor Cal guy. He's athletic and he's got offers from Washington, Missouri and Kentucky and schools from all over -- Oklahoma, Oregon, Florida -- have all been calling about him. He's visiting Washington on December 6th and he'll take some other visits before he signs in February."

2013 Stats: 39 tackles, 12 tackles-for-loss, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble

OT Haniteli Lousi - "Lousi got overshadowed by Dominick, but man, he had a great season and he's a lot like Kelly because he blew up once coaches got a look at him. He's got offers from a ton of schools -- Arizona State, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Kansas, Nevada, Oregon, San Jose State, Texas Tech, Washington and Washington State -- and more are looking. He's already visited Colorado (11/22) and he will visit Oregon this weekend and then Florida on December 13th. He's another First Team All-Nor Cal guy."

CB Izaiah Skelton - "Skelton has offers from Hawaii and Central Arkansas and he's got a visit scheduled to Central Arkansas on December 6th. He's a big guy who can play corner and that's why schools really like him."

2013 Stats: 12 tackles, 2 pass breakups

LB Michael Spivey - "Spivey is a guy who hasn't gotten the notice he deserves. He does have an offer from Nevada and he will visit there in December, but he should have more offers. He can play at the highest level. He is an All-Nor Cal guy and he's just a special kid and player. He's good against the run and the pass and he's smart."

2013 Stats: 67 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 10 tackles-for-loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception, 2 pass breakups

CB Joseph Turner - "Turner is still solidly committed to Washington State. He had a great season for us and was a First Team All-Nor Cal guy."

2013 Stats: 18 tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss, 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions, 6 pass breakups
