Lorenzo Carter 3:45 PM

Norcross, Ga. == Norcross High School == DE == 6-5/232 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Georgia is still trending here as it has been for over a month now. He stays in regular contact with Mark Richt, Bryan McClendon – Jeremy Pruitt was at his home a week ago. Georgia has Carter's final official visit and that could seal the deal.

Prospects Committed to Georgia...

Dominick Sanders

Tucker, Ga. == Tucker High School == ATH/DB == 5-10/175 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Toughness is what I see when I watch Sanders. He just shows up and plays bigger than expected, and when a big play is made, it seems he happens to be around it all of the time. He could play corner or safety on the next level.

Jacob Park

Goose Creek, S.C. == Goose Creek High School == QB == 6-3/200 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Park's personality is a little different than the normal quarterback at Georgia when looking at the history of Mark Richt and Mike Bobo. He has a flare about him and is a very confident young man. Park has talent and a big arm; good pocket awareness and upside.

Jeb Blazevich

Charlotte, N.C. == Charlotte Christian School == TE == 6-4/225 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: The next great tight end at Georgia? Blazevich could be. Blazevich is willing to line up anywhere on the field for the Dawgs and has a lot to offer. He is a big receiver right now who can create mismatches. Blazevich's main strength? Great hands.

Shattle Fenteng

Hutchinson, Kan. == Hutchinson Community College == CB == 6-2/184 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Size is what jumps out about Fenteng. He is long and that really helps him in coverage as a cornerback. He is former wide receiver, so his hands are viewed as a strength as well.

Dyshon Sims

Valdosta, Ga. == Lowndes High School == OT == 6-4/275 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Sims is another kid Georgia is signing with a lot of upside. Sims improved a lot over the past nine months, but he still has so much potential. He really moves well side to side. He can play in space on the outside. Sims has long arms and a toughness to him.

Detric Dukes

Tucker, Ga. == Tucker High School == MLB == 6-0/215 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Dukes is a true inside linebacker who likes to attack the football downhill. He flies to the ball and plays with no fear. He loves to lay the wood.

Malkom Parrish

Quitman, Ga. == Brooks County High School == CB == 5-10, 186 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: A south Georgia kid who gets after it on the field, Parrish played all over the field in high school. He's a dynamic player with great ability and upside as a defensive back. He is physical and will play early at Georgia.

Shakenneth Williams

Macon, Ga. == Rutland High School == WR == 6-1/195 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Shakenneth Williams and fellow receiver Gilbert Johnson, are a lot alike. Williams has good size (in addition to his big hands) and strength. He shows an aggression towards the ball, which is important for a receiver. He is faster than some might think as well.

Jake Edwards

Franklin, Ga. == Heard County High School == OT == 6-4/288 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Edwards is more of an old-school offensive lineman with his toughness, look and mentality. After putting on a good bit of weight, Edwards has gotten a lot stronger. He has really developed over the last six to nine months.

Nick Chubb

Cedartown, Ga. == Cedartown High School == RB == 5-10/213 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: At the start of the recruiting process not many folks were talking about Chubb – a Scout 100 player over a year ago – but everyone knows him now. He is physically ready to play now in the SEC, and that's saying something for any player – particularly a running back. He is being compared to Todd Gurley – that is a lofty comparison. But Chubb is a strong back with great balance and a knack for piling up yards after initial contact.

Rico Johnson

Swainsboro, Ga. == Swainsboro High School == WR == 5-11/168 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Speed. That's all you need to know about Johnson. He is explosive and will be a real weapon as a return man in the early part of his career. Johnson is quick and has the type of burst you like to see in any athlete.

Kendall Baker

Atlanta, Ga. == Marist School == DE == 6-6/275 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Baker has a big body and could end up on either side of the ball, even though Scout.com has always projected him as an offensive lineman. Offensive tackle is a possibility, but guard could be where Baker has the most upside.

Keyon Brown

Wauchula, Fla. == Hardee Senior High School == DE == 6-3/240 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Brown was not a highly publicized prospect in Florida – almost certainly because of his location – but appears to be a solid prospect. He's very good off the edge as a pass rusher and is a physical player at the point of attack. Brown could end up being a real steal for Georgia.

Isaiah Wynn

Saint Petersburg, Fla. == Lakewood High School == OL == 6-2/270 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Wynn's height is not prototypical for an offensive lineman. But he's tall enough and has long enough arms help offset any issues with height. Wynn has those skinny ankles – something I look for in an offensive lineman. He plays light on his feet and could end up being an elite guard at Georgia.

Sony Michel

Plantation, Fla. == American Heritage School == RB == 5-11, 205 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Some still find it hard to believe that Michel is a Bulldog and not a Hurricane. Michel is a legend in Miami and Florida. He will be ready to compete for playing time as a true freshman. Michel has great vision is quick to the hole and is one of the best running backs in the country.

Lamont Gaillard

Fayetteville, N.C. == Pine Forest High School == DT == 6-3/315 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: It is easy to see why schools jumped on Gaillard early in the process –his first step off the ball. He fires off the ball well, but needs to refine his game from a technique standpoint and play with more consistency.

Gilbert Johnson

Homestead, Fla. == Homestead Senior High School == WR == 6-3/192 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Johnson is a tall and long wide receiver who is known for jump-ball plays. He had a great Mark Richt Camp and stood out by plucking the ball out of the air time after time. Johnson is not a down-the-field speed guy, but is a vertical threat because of his size and long strides.

Shaquille Jones

Merritt Island, Fla. == Merritt Island Senior High School == CB == 6-2/175 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: Jones had a great visit to Louisville, and committed the Cardinals, but announced on Monday that he was committed to Georgia and would sign with the Bulldogs. This is a good last-minute addition to the Georgia roster.

Isaiah McKenzie

Plantation, Fla. == American Heritage School == ATH == 5-8/165 lbs.

Chad Simmons' Take: A latecomer to the ball game. Will Georgia really be able to sneak away with McKenzie this late in the ballgame?

Andrew Williams 2:00 PM

McDonough, Ga. == Eagles Landing Christian Academy == DE == 6-4/251 lbs.
