Took a Liking

A five-hour trip isn't that bad - according to Tyler Jordan.

Then again the 2015 Bishop Kenny (Fla.) prospect wasn't the one driving the car.

"I didn't drive, but I did stay up the entire time," he said.

The 2015 recruiting cycle is well under way, and Georgia is trying to make a push for Tyler Jordan, a 6-4, 270-pound offensive lineman from the Jacksonville area.

"I don't have any favorites right now, and I am keeping my options open," he said of his recruiting situation right now. "But I really like the facilities, and I love the coaches."

Top on that list is offensive line coach Will Friend, who Jordan said is a "nice, genuine, down-to-earth guy. He seems like a family man."

With the understanding that he is not listing favorite and keeping things open, Jordan said he came away impressed with Georgia.

"I'm really interested (in Georgia) right now," he said after the visit - saying that he became interested after the Bulldogs offered him on Tuesday.

"They came to me and offered me so I started talking to the coaches and took a liking to them," he said.

What remains to be seen is if Tyler will take a liking so much that he decides to be a Bulldog one day.
