"Georgia is my dream school"

"I have been telling people that I want that Georgia offer," said Juwan Taylor. "This is an offer that I really wanted and Georgia is my dream offer."

The athletic linebacker out of Hallandale, Fla. has family in Georgia that are huge UGA fans. He could not believe when he received the offer Thursday.

"I was very surprised by the offer. I had not even heard from Georgia before. Coach [Mike] Ekeler (Inside linebackers) came down to the school and I was not expecting that offer.

"I talked to him on the phone and he told me that he likes my size, how I play sideline to sideline, and how athletic I am."

The Dawgs have high interest in the 6-foot-2, 200 pound 2015 prospect and the feelings are mutual.

This offer means something to Taylor.

"I like Georgia a lot," said Taylor. "I have to say Georgia has a good chance with me. I look up to Alec Ogletree, so I watched him a lot at Georgia. I like the defense a lot too and I hope to visit there this summer."

Before the Georgia offer, only Western Michigan had offered. Shortly after the Dawgs offered, an offer from Pittsburgh came in.

Expect Taylor's recruitment to pick up. He had 116 tackles as a junior when playing at Hollywood Hills.
