Offer Watch: Big week in Athens

Georgia will offer someone new this week. How many new offers will go out? How many will be to 2015 prospects? Dawg Post takes a look at four to keep an eye on...

Georgia will have prospects on their campus all week through Saturday when the Dawgs close it out with the Mark Richt Camp.

New offers will go out, but to who?

Mark Richt doesn't even know that yet. That is why prospects are camping in Athens this week. The UGA staff still has some evaluating to do.

Here are four prospects Dawg Post feels UGA has their eye on in the 2015 class that will be in Athens between Tuesday and Saturday.

Each has a shot at earning an offer before they leave.

Sage Hardin | OT | Atlanta (Ga.) Marist
Georgia is an offer Hardin wants -- bad. He is only taking part in a few camps in June before making a decision later this summer. Georgia has shown a lot of interest in Hardin and all but offered him early in the spring. They asked him to be at their first summer camp to workout, so this will be a big weekend for the 6-foot-6, 265 pound senior.

Ronnie Harrison | S | Tallahassee (Fla.) FSU School
This North Carolina commitment will be making his second trip to Athens on Tuesday. He will stay over night before leaving on Wednesday. He is not planning to camp, but hang out with the coaches, and spend more time in Athens. He camped at Alabama last week and earned an offer. Harrison is still committed to North Carolina, but he has interest in the Dawgs.

Octavis Johnson | CB | Homerville (Ga.) Clinch County
Georgia has been around Clinch County a good bit the last year or so and Johnson is definitely on their radar. Jeremy Pruitt offered Johnson 11 months ago at FSU during a Jimbo Fisher Camp. Johnson is right around 6-feet tall, he is strong, and he has around 20 offers now. One to keep an eye on.

Gary McCrae | OLB | Cuthbert (Ga.) Randolph-Clay
Not many know about McCrae yet, but he is an athlete in South Georgia who has quietly picked up around 10 offers. He was known early in high school as a basketball star, now he is hitting the scene in football. McCrae saw Mike Bobo at his school this spring and now the 6-foot-3, 220 pound senior will camp in front of the Bulldog coaches Tuesday and Wednesday. He is an athletic outside linebacker.

There are plenty other prospects that will be in Athens this week looking to impress the UGA coaches. Stay tuned to Dawg Post for the full coverage.
