You constantly see different Bulldog coaches around the versatile athlete when he is on campus and it was the same again Friday night.
"It [Dawg Night] was great, it almost had a real Friday night feel to it," said Slayton.
The 6-foot-2, 180 pound athlete out of Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian not only worked at cornerback Friday, but some at wide receiver too.
"I got a better feel for the coaches and their true coaching style. Coach [Tony] Ball (Wide receivers) and Coach [Jeremy] Pruitt (Defensive backs) are cool guys and I like their coaching styles."
Slayton, a four-star cornerback on Scout is being recruited more an athlete by the Dawgs. He has always leaned a little more towards wide receiver, but corner on the next level has grown on him some over the past few months.
This was his second trip to Athens, Ga. this summer and the Dawgs are charging for one of the top Peach State prospects.
"All I can say is, I like Georgia, but I cannot put a number on them," said Slayton with a laugh.
There is no timeline on Slayton and his decision. He could commit before the season or decide to take a few official visits first.
