Bellamy Arrested for DUI

For the seventh time this offseason a Georgia football player has been arrested.

This time it is reserve linebacker Davin Bellamy, who was picked up on a DUI charge early Saturday morning by Athens-Clarke County police.

He was booked at 5:02 AM and released at 6:22 AM.

Of the players arrested before Bellamy in the offseason only one, James DeLoach, is still with the program. Shaq Wiggins, John Taylor, Tray Matthews and Uriah LeMay have all transferred or been dismissed.

Bellamy is not expected to be dismissed, but he will likely be suspended two games for the DUI arrest. He took to Twitter later Saturday morning tweeting:

"Would like to apologize to #dawgnation for my immaturity. I have embarrassed myself, my family, & my brothers. I will gain your trust back"
