“I’m just going to tell you, coach (Tony) Ball has an amazing plan for me,” Williams said. “I’ve just got to sit back and wait patiently and do what he tells me to do. Learn, study and we’ll see what happens.”
Williams said the plan for him is being in position to play if somebody were to go down.
A redshirt season seems more in the cards for Williams at a position that the Bulldogs are deep.
For now, several receivers are banged up.
Freshman receiver/returner Isaiah McKenzie didn’t practice Monday with an undisclosed injury after scrimmaging Saturday. N.C. State transfer Charlie Hegedus was also not practicing. Walk-on Kenny Towns was in a non-contact jersey.
