“I don’t’ know,” Richt said. “I’d just as soon not get into that.”
Georgia returned to the practice field to some good news with a couple of players coming off injury.
Inside linebacker Ramik Wilson took another step toward being ready for the opener, practicing in a regular jersey for the first time since sustaining a concussion. He was in a non-contact jersey a day earlier.
“Even at that position we’re getting more and more guys back ready to go,” Richt said. “The good news is the good majority of those guys have had opportunity. The true freshmen, they’re guys that are learning and all but I think we have enough in the fold that have experience, we have a pretty good idea they know what to do and when the time comes, they’ll be ready.”
Richt said he expected the majority of the receivers who were in non-contact to be able to go Friday night when the Bulldogs hold their second preseason scrimmage.
