Recruiting: Tuesday's Fast Five

Another week and more movement in the world of Georgia recruiting.

-- Darius Slayton is still trending Georgia, but he has set an official visit to South Carolina for this weekend. Good thing is, Georgia is playing... South Carolina has quietly been in the mix here for a few months, but as of NOW, it is still a longshot that he chooses the Gamecocks. We will see if this visit changes that. I think Slayton could visit again again later this month.

-- Georgia commit Shaquery Wilson has scheduled an official visit to Wisconsin the weekend of Sept. 20. That is the off week for his high school team. West Virginia is another school he could visit officially, other than Georgia, of course. Wilson is still a strong commit, but he is giving a few other schools a look. Georgia has told him they want to bring him in as an athlete.

-- Friday is the day for Jayson Stanely... The UGA commit will have surgery on his ACL. He is in good spirits and he says, "I will come back two-times better than I was before." He is excited to be a Bulldog and his commitment is strong.

-- Bryan McClendon made a few stops Friday and one was to Woodward Academy. He was there to check on 2016 RB Elijah Holyfield, a RB McClendon appears to really like. No offer YET, but one could be on the way... UGA had nothing on Holyfield academically yet, so he picked up transcripts, got them into the office, and an offer could come soon. Nothing official yet, but he is one to keep an eye on. He has interest in UGA, so this offer could be BIG for him.

-- Not hearing great news at THIS time on Rico McGraw or Tarvares McFadden... My sources say McGraw is strong to Bama and it will be VERY difficult for UGA to get him in the end... Still not over, but I was once hearing it is a real possibility for the Dawgs to get him back -- Not anymore, but I will stay on this. It may come down to McFadden's parents... They were NOT with him when he visited a couple of weeks ago and they have been to FSU -- UGA's main competitor. UGA made a STRONG impression and Tarvares continues to talk with Sony Michel, his close friend, but I am picking FSU as of TODAY. This one could swing a couple of different directions before all is said and done. It may come down to the official visit here...
