Green broke up a pass to Marquez North in the second quarter, but left the game with a bruised leg but he said he practiced Monday.
“I think I played well, but just certain alignment adjustments and certain backpedalling instead of flipping (need to be better),” he said. “Most times I backpedaled the whole time instead of doing what coach taught us but I was about 20 yards deep so I didn’t think I had to open up.”
Green had three tackles in the game.
Richt described Green’s showing as “not bad. He made a couple of plays. He tackled relatively well. He’s a coachable guy, he’s a smart guy. I don’t think there were many crucial, critical errors that he made at all. So he got his feet wet.”
