“I just don’t have an answer on (Todd). If there is something worthy to report on that we will report it,” Richt said.
The running back did practice on Monday, but Richt said he still didn’t know Gurley’s future.
“I really don’t know. I don’t know the answer that,” Richt said when asked if if he thought that Gurley would ever play for Georgia again.
The Athens Banner-Herald reported on Tuesday that another person has been linked to the Gurley autographs-for-cash saga. Shane Smith, from Cedartown, “is believed to have been in a car with memorabilia dealer Bryan Allen with Gurley in a video that Georgia officials have seen, a source” told the Banner-Herald.
