Dawg Post Tuesday Practice Report

ATHENS - No. 9 Georgia returned to the practice field Tuesday afternoon for the first time since the 45-32 win at Arkansas last Saturday

The Bulldogs, who practiced for 90 minutes in full pads, are in the middle of their second bye week of the season.

Georgia (6-1, 4-1 SEC) will return to action a week from Saturday when the Bulldogs face Florida (4-3, 2-3 SEC) in the annual neutral site battle in Jacksonville, Fla. The team will practice again on Wednesday and Thursday before taking the weekend off.

“It was good to get back to work today,” said head coach Mark Richt. “It was probably the best weather we’ve had all year, and the guys really got after it today. I thought they had great energy and effort."

Kickoff for the game between Georgia and Florida is set for approximately 3:30 p.m., and the contest will be broadcast nationally on CBS. The Bulldogs have won the last three meetings with the Gators.
