'Georgia's on top of my list'

Georgia impressed many on multiple levels with their win over Auburn Saturday night and one of those is a top target for the Dawgs. After his visit Saturday he said UGA has taken the lead...

Georgia fans that follow recruiting have become familiar with the name Chidi Valentine-Okeke over the past couple of months.

Is he is a 2015 or 2016 prospect? How bad does UGA want him? Is he playing football this fall? Where is he going to school? Those are all questions many have asked for weeks now.

Well, the answers to those questions are -- All signs point to him being part of the 2015 class, the Dawgs have made him a priority, and he is playing football for Faith Academy North in Stockbridge, Ga.

Valentine-Okeke attended his second game at UGA Saturday and the Dawgs have made a strong impression on the 6-foot-6, 310 pound offensive tackle this fall.

The impression is strong enough to lead the four-star to name Georgia as his leader.

"I feel at home whenever I am at Georgia," said Valentine-Okeke. "They are on top of my list now and it was great at Georgia Saturday."

The Dawgs took it to Auburn after the Tigers took the opening drive right down the field for a touchdown. UGA ran off 34 points after that.

The way UGA played stood out to Valentine-Okeke. He said "Georgia played like professionals" against Auburn when asked about their performance.

The Dawgs have made it clear to the big-time offensive tackle that he is a priority for them. An official visit has been talked about and it looks like that will happen in December.

A decision is likely to come early in 2015.

Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and LSU are the other schools Valentine-Okeke is considering.
