Sanders' injury appears minor

Georgia apparently came out of Saturday’s blowout of Charleston Southern without any major injuries.

Freshman starting defensive back Dominick Sanders exited the game midway through the first quarter with what Richt said was a bruise to his left shin.

“He got leg whipped in the shin,” Richt said. “I think he’ll be fine. There’s no issues as far as the X-rays.” Sanders was walking with a limp out of the locker room.

Freshman Isaiah McKenzie was shaken up on fourth-quarter punt return, but returned for a kickoff return later.

Cornerback Damian Swann missed practice Wednesday with flu-like symptoms but started and had a forced fumble and tackle.

“I’m doing a lot better than I was,” Swann said. “I had it all.”
