“I am still committed to Georgia, but it can hurt to explore other options,” he told scout.com on Monday.
“I really love the football facilities - the way they gleam. They are so pretty,” he said.
The four-star receiver said that he expects Georgia receiver coach Tony Ball at Holy Cross on Tuesday. He also said that he will take an official visit to Georgia this weekend for the program’s annual Gala event.
“Coach Ball is a great guy. I would love for him to be my coach,” he said. “I have a personal relationship with him. We will push me to the limit, but I know that he will always be there for me.”
Getting Chigbu away from Georgia is going to be a challenge for the Sun Devils and Bears. He said that he was impressed by the way Georgia’s players love what they are doing.
“On my first visit to Georgia I loved the atmosphere and the coaches,” he said. “I really like how I interact with the coaches. I also love how the players want to be at the school, and how they love to play football.”
