16 for 2016 - E.J. Price

Dawg Post gives its subscribers 16 prospects to keep up with in the 2016 recruiting cycle - Today Central Gwinnett offensive lineman E.J. Price.

Dawg Post's 16 for 2016 is an early list of players who have already make a mark on the recruiting world.

E.J. Price
Offensive lineman

Chad Simmons’s Quick Take: Price is all about upside. He’s really quite athletic for on offensive lineman. He’s got great mobility, length and quickness.

The Scoop: E.J. Price has a pretty, pretty body. The length he’s got is rare. He’s going to be a big-deal recruit because of his potential. He did quite well learning and competing during the Mark Richt Camp over the summer.

For Price the future really is going to be all about learning what he has to do. He lives in Gwinnett County, which is known for sending off polished players to college, but he’s raw. Price will have to develop in college. But if he does he could certainly be a high-round NFL Draft pick.

At Central Gwinnett he was not often challenged - even in a county as talented as Gwinnett, but now he's transferred to Archer, where he will get a chance to make a run at a state title. His length really helps him out. It also lets him get away with some things (footwork) that he will have to clean up later. But while you can work on footwork, you can’t grow longer limbs, so Price has that major factor on his side.

Price has the potential to be as good as anyone in Georgia in 2016. His frame is simply too good; he is a must get in 2016 for Georgia. Tackles don’t grow on trees.
