Thompson Dominating at All-American Bowl

SAN ANTONIO - One Georgia commitment is blowing up the competition in the Army All-American game. Recruiting Analyst John Garcia says that Georgia commit Trenton Thompson is opening eyes at the 2015 US Army All-American Game.

“He’s been far and away the top defensive lineman on the East roster at the Army Bowl,” Garcia said. “He was powerful in one-on-one drills. Thompson was even better during the inside drill and getting into the backfield in a hurry.”

Thompson, a 6-3, 298-pound five-star prospect, committed to the Bulldogs in August. Garcia said the Albany native was nearly unstoppable at one point in the practice.

“On one of his back-to-back tackles for a loss, Thompson nearly snagged the ball from the quarterback during the mesh with the RB on the zone-read. He was that quick,” Garcia said.
