According to recruiting analyst Chad Simmons, Wilson is fairly indecisive, which is why the expert is hesitant to put too much out there about where he will end up.
Georgia offered Wilson as an “athlete,” and Wilson feels he is being targeted as a corner or safety. Simmons said that as of Sunday, Wilson wants to play only offense in college. So, as of Sunday, the chances of Wilson signing with UGA looked to be dwindling.
Of course, as Simmons pointed out, the dead period ends later this week, and Pruitt and the rest of the coaching staff will have time to contact Wilson. The questions remain: can UGA get to Wilson quick enough? And will they have one last pull to get him to stay committed to the Bulldogs?
