Dawg Post is going into the vault to dig up some stories you should go back and read.

Today's Dawg Post Throwback Story of the Day features a piece by Josh Kendall from 2004 detailing the final days of Georgia's recruiting class leading up to National Signing day.

ATHENS -- With four days left before Wednesday's National Signing Day, Georgia has completed all but the finishing touches on its 2004 recruiting class.

"We've just got to tie up a few loose ends," recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner said. "For the most part, we feel pretty good about things. If we finish out with a couple guys we're waiting on, it's got a chance to be a good class."

The Bulldogs have 18 verbal commitments already and are believed to be waiting on word from five players -- Colquitt athlete Brandon Miller (6-foot-4, 220 pounds), Hartwell linebacker Jae Thaxton (6-2, 220), Atlanta lineman Michael Brown (6-5, 260), Alabaster, Ala., safety Tony Bell (6-2, 205) and Rockingham, N.C., athlete Dannell Ellerbe (6-0, 181).
